Diagnosis and Titration
SimplyWellbeing is in partnership with a specialist Clinic to offer full ADHD medical diagnostic services. Based near London Bridge, we work together to deliver a new kind of ADHD service. One where the ethos is of providing the best consultative advice, support, diagnosis and treatment services for ADHD Adults in the UK. We treat clients positively, courteously and with respect - our aim is to help people with ADHD live happier, easier and more fulfilled lives.
Unique Service
Having been diagnosed myself, both privately and via the NHS, I know how stressful and frustrating it can be to get support and a diagnosis for your ADHD. Our philosophy is to change the process of diagnosis from a doctor diagnosing a patient's disorder to specialist consultants helping a client better manage their ADHD traits.

Our Approach
We do not regard ADHD as disorder, more as a different neurology, or brain-wiring, that brings both positive and negative traits. We are only too aware however that unrecognized and untreated ADHD can cause major problems in our lives which may result in serious issues from depression, addictions and anxiety; to problems with work, relationship breakdowns, educational failures and financial hardships. So we take the process of helping ADHD adults very seriously.

Diagnostic Services
SimplyWellbeing is now offering ADHD psychiatric diagnosis and consultations services with a select team of specialist ADHD psychiatrists. The experienced psychiatric team has collectively diagnosed many hundreds of ADHD adults.The procedures are all "ADHD friendly" with minimum paperwork and plenty of reminders in place!
ADHD Adult Diagnosis
A comprehensive package including screening diagnositic questionairres, psychiatrist interview and a post-diagnosis coaching consultation. You will recieve a comprehensive diagnosis report and a letter for your GP. The process is:
- Two hour face to face consultation with Consultant Psychiatrist
- Advice on medication and discussion of titration process
- Letter and full diagnostic report to GP
- One hour phone coaching session post-diagnosis
Medication Titration
Once diagnosed you may wish to try medication. Hopefully your GP will help with this in which case we will write to them outlining the "titration" process. Sometime they may lack experience of ADHD and prefer we help you through the process of establishing the right dose and medication to best help you. Ttitration will involve a number of in person and phone consultations, usually two to three should suffice. Once you are stabilised and happy with your medication, we will then ask your GP to take over with NHS prescriptions.
ADHD Psychiatrist Consultations
If you wish to have a follow up consultation, perhaps you are already diagnosed, in the UK or elsewhere, but wish to change or re-start medication, you can visit us to see one of our ADHD specialist psychiatrists.

Referral
You can choose to self-refer to our Centre and pay for the services (ADHD diagnosis, Coaching, Groups etc) privately or through healthcare insurance where appropriate or you can ask to be referred through your GP/PCT and the NHS. You can self-refer and pay yourself, be referred by your GP for private (or insurance) payment or be referred by your GP and PCT with NHS funding. If you refer privately we would expect to see you within a couple of weeks, referral via the NHS may take longer and is not guaranteed..
