Four 90 min training and coaching sessions, to help parents learn to help their ADD Child (or children). There is a mix of ediucation, discussion and coaching for no more than 5 parents. The first 30 minutes will be formal "education" with handouts but we will also have group discussion and coaching too. Parents can offer support and ideas to one another. Everyone can share how they have (or still have to) overcome parenting challenges. Parents (if they wish) can make commitments to apply new approaches and feedback results at the next classes.
- Gain an insight into ADD, the neurology, negative and positive traits and behaviour patterns
- Understanding, Accepting and Embracing your child's ADHD
- Learn positive approaches to help your kid with friendships, poor behaviours and happiness
- Action Coaching principles - how best to activate and motivate your child.
- Review wellbeing how sleep, diet, medication, attitude, exercise and supplements can help
- Sharing strategies that have best worked for discipline, homework and friends
- Start to build a new partnership with your ADD kid, aligned with common goals.
How does it work on the phone?
- Participants call into a 020 8xxx xxxx conference call
- Skype can be used
- Everyone will be able to hear and talk with each other
- Can attend without inconvenience, travel time, child care etc
- It is quite common to do phone training/coaching, it works remarkably well
- The class or workshop size is small so it will be informal and relaxed
You are not alone!
This is a fantastic opportunity to meet and get to know other parents of ADD children and to discuss with them in a structured forums ADD issues such as:
- Staying focussed and interested at school
- Problems getting to sleep
- Making and keeping friends
- Getting homework done
- Managing time spent watching TV or playing video games
End note
An informal and interactive series of classes/coaching sessions. Please come prepared to discuss any issues your child may be struggling with and to receive and give support to other parents. Andrew Lewis, ADHD Coach (ADD himself) will be hosting and facilitating.
